Natty Rico is a French multifaceted artist who doubles as a top DJ, whilst also being a world- renowned sax player, performer, composer and remixer! His latest single is Summer Vibe and was released in the UK a few weeks ago. EF got to know him a little better and here is what I found out.

How did you get into music?
All my family play music, so I always been around it ! When I was 7 I finally decided to try the sax.
Could you describe your music to our readers?
My Music reflect my mood. I can’t really describe it, I love to compose all kind of Music, but you can always recognize my touch. But if i had to choose a style, I would say: My music make people dance, and I also try to give emotion to people with My Music
You have a single out, could you tell us about it?
My new single called Summer Vibe reflect the feeling we have when we are on vacation. I love this feeling and I never want the summer to end. So I created this single to play it anytime, under the rain or snow to keep this hot sensation 🙂
Can you describe your creative process?
When do you feel most inspired? My creative process is all about what is happening in my life. Anything can inspire Me. Every second I’ve Music in Amy head, I’ve a tons of melodies in Mind! Even sometimes I wake up in the middle of the Night. And anytime, if I’m sleeping and I have an idea or if I’m with friends or I’m doing something, I just leave the place I am to go straight to My studio to record what I have in My head, like it can’t wait not to write these ideas.
Do you have an rituals before live shows?
I like to be alone, and focus. I’m always stressed before going on stage even tho it’s been a while now I’m touring. I always need this stress to make sure I will play 100% good and give all My energy to my fans (and they give it back to Me, it’s Amazing !)
What else can we expect from you this year (album, EP, tour)?
I’m composing every day when I’m in my house in Los Angeles and not touring, I love it so much. I have a lots of singles ready, so expect many other tracks this year. Also, I’m a lot on Tour too, so you can follow all My Gigs on my instagram.
