Whiskey Myers hit Billboard 200 Top 10 with new self-titled album

East Texas group Whiskey Myers have earned their first UK Top 10 album of their career with their self-titled and self-produced new album.

Out now via Snakefarm Records, the album debuted at number six on the Billboard 200. They also hit Number One in the Billboard Top Country Albums Chart, and debuted at Number Two on the Billboard Rock Charts.

The new 14-track album stretches the boundaries of genre just as the band themselves have done over the past 12 years. For the collection they’ve drawn inspiration from a range of influences such as Nirvana and Waylon Jennings.

Whiskey Myers is the follow-up to 2016’s Dave Cobb produced Mud, which climbed to No. 4 on Billboard’s US Country Chart. The band’s music has featured in Paramount Network’s Kevin Costner hit TV series Yellowstone.

Their music will appear in Season 2 of the show with synced tracks throughout the season. They recently guested with their heroes The Rolling Stones in Chicago and performed the new album track Rolling Stone on the TODAY show in the US.

Whiskey Myers are currently planning to return to Europe in 2020.
