Country duo Walker McGuire have announced that they are calling it quits and going their separate ways.
Last Saturday the guys – Jordan Walker and Johnny McGuire – were supporting Luke Combs at a show when Combs announced on stage that it was Walker McGuire’s last show. That took fans by surprise, who have been left to speculate since.
A few hours ago, a post was released on Walker McGuire’s official Facebook page confirming the news. You can see the post below:
As we posted earlier this week, we regret to inform everyone we’ve decided to end Walker McGuire. We want to thank everyone for their support and for following us on our journey the last five + years. You guys can keep up with Johnny on his new music page Johnny McGuire and follow Jordan on his Instagram @JordanWalker2
At the end the post warns fans that the official Walker McGuire page will be deleted in a week. On Johnny’s Instagram page, he’s already teasing that solo music is coming soon:

Over their time as a band, Walker McGuire made their mark on Country music with the release of their self-titled EP in 2018 and their last single release Growin’ Up in September. The duo performed in the UK during the first ever Country Music Week, where they were a hit with fans.
We’re sad to hear the news about the band’s split but we look forward to seeing what they do individually moving forward.
