Singer-songwriter Sam Williams has shared the video for his latest single Weatherman.
Shot in London when Williams supported Cam on her Oh, the Places We’ll Go Tour at London’s O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire, Weatherman gives fan a glimpse at what the rising star’s live performances are like.
Watch the video below:
āThis live video marks a memorable time in my life and career,ā said Williams. āIt is the first song in my familyās catalogue Iāve covered, and my first time doing a live music video. āWeathermanā means a lot to me. Getting to tour with Cam is something I never saw coming, and she became such an inspiration to me during the tour. Intimacy and truth shine through her show. She is always one hundred percent herself and I look up to her for it. I hope people see that in me in this video!ā
Weatherman is a cover of Williams’ father Hank Williams Jr.ās 1981 hit. It is the follow-up to previous single Gemini, which arrived in June.
Williams is inspired by āthe new Nashvilleā with artists like Margo Price, Tyler Childers, Ruston Kelly and more blurring genre lines. He’s influenced by artists ranging from Billie Eilish to Dolly Parton, and his sister Holly Williams to Drake.
