Ron Pope will visit the UK in November to play two headline shows as part of his international tour.
The shows are in support of Pope’s recently released album Work, which was released on his own label Brooklyn Basement Records. Pope will perform at The Garage in London on 5th November and Academy 3 in Manchester on 6th November.

Talking about his album Work Pope says, āThis album follows me from when I was thirteen and a teacher told my mother that Iād probably end up in prison; I started messing around writing songs that year. Itās been mostly uphill ever since.ā
Work was recorded in analog at Welcome to 1979 in Nashville over the course of a week with Grammy award-winning engineer Ted Young.
Over his career to date Pope has sold over 2 million digital tracks and amassed more than 200 million streams on Spotify. He’s also achieved more than 630 million plays on Pandora and 150 million views on YouTube.
Earlier this year Pope performed Baby, I Love You at Carnegie Hall as part of The Music of Aretha Franklin tribute show. He also recorded a cover of the song and an accompanying instudio video in celebration of Franklinās 75th birthday.
