Red Sky July announce new sister album Voyager

Red Sky July will release Voyager, a sister release to the band’s March 2016 album The Truth and The Lie, on 16th September 2016 it has been confirmed.

The short collection of new songs is available to pre-order now from iTunes. After reflecting on the release of The Truth and The Lie, Red Sky July felt they had more stories to tell. Voyager features six tracks with Shelly Poole on vocals and keys, Ally McErlaine on guitar, Charity Hair on vocals and fiddle with additional steel peddle from Mark Neary.

ā€œThe album felt like it needed a sister for some reason, we are always working in the studio on new material and we just felt like the story of The Truth and The Lie had more layers to itā€, explains Shelly.

The band recorded and produced Voyager in their garden studio in north London. The album will be launched with a headline show at London’s Bush Hall on 19th September, their biggest headline show to date.
