Michael Ray is heading back to the UK for his first headline tour in October.
The run will kick off as part of Country Music Week on Tuesday 22nd October at London’s Bush Hall. Ray will then visit Birmingham, Liverpool, Manchester and Glasgow. Tickets for the shows are on sale Friday 28th June at 10am BST, with a pre-sale via AXS & SeeTickets for C2C attendees on Wednesday 26th June at 10am BST.
Part of his Nineteen tour, the shows will mark Ray’s return to the UK following a fantastic reception at C2C: Country to Country in March where he played on the Spotlight Stage and many of the festival’s pop-up stages. He also blew fans away at one of the official aftershow parties in London.
“We named our tour Nineteen this year as it’s already brought so many incredible new experiences musically – in the studio and on the road,” shared Ray who is touring supporting his latest album Amos. “Playing the UK like we did earlier this year was a bucket list item for me, and so to be back so soon – headlining these shows – is in thanks to those fans who adopted these lyrics as their own. Not just the singles but the album cuts, too, and that is all an artist can ask for is that folks listen to the art, the music. Thank you for welcoming us back. We can’t wait to see you on the road!”
Ray scored his third number one single, One That Got Away, earlier this year. His latest single Her World Or Mine is out now.
