Lucie Silvas has released the music video for Smoke, the third and final part of her video trilogy.
The trilogy started with Letters to Ghosts and Villain, and now the story comes to a close with the release of Smoke. Lucie wrote and produced the first two storyline videos and fans can now enjoy them as one edit or as individual videos.
Smoke is the latest single to be taken from Lucie’s third studio album Letters to Ghosts, which was released on Decca last year. The album is a collection of 11 country songs that show Lucie’s influences since living in Nashville.
Speaking to Rolling Stone Country, Silvas said:
“Writing music and singing and performing live is something that comes naturally, but then when you get into the world of videos and visuals – some people think like that from the very beginning, but I was just playing music. So I was trying to think of a way I could do it comfortably. And that was to play a role, and play this villainous character.”
