Lindsay Ell has released the music video for her new single Criminal and she’s topped the Canadian Country Radio charts.
The Canadian musician unleashed the epic video for Criminal recently, which sees her committing crimes, being chased by police and performing from a jail cell. There are definite shades of Orange is the New Black about the stunning video.

Following on from the release of the video, it was announced that Criminal had earned the top spot on both the Mediabase and BDS Canadian country radio charts. The achievement makes Ell the first Canadian female artist to hit No. 1 on the Canadian Country airplay charts since 2008.

In the US Criminal was the Most Added song at Country Radio on its impact week and it’s been steadily climbing up the charts. The song has also been enjoying plenty of airplay in the UK on BBC Radio 2 and Chris Country.
Ell was in the UK last month to perform as part of C2C: Country to Country 2018 and the C2C Roadshow. She was one of the standout performers of the entire event, wowing a sold-out arena on the Spotlight Stage inside The O2 Arena.
The Project, Ell’s full-length record, was given a proper UK release to tie in with C2C featuring all-new artwork.
Ell is currently on the road with Brad Paisley for his Weekend Warrior World Tour. This summer she will join Sugarland’s Still the Same Tour followed by Keith Urban’s Graffiti U World Tour later in the year.
