Kashena Sampson is returning to the UK in May to perform a headline show at The Slaughtered Lamb in London.
Taking place on 31st May 2018, the show will be in support of Sampson’s album Wild Heart. The album will be released on 18th May 2018 via Sampson’s own label New Moon Records.
Following on from her headline show at The Slaughtered Lamb, Sampson will perform at Red Rooster Festival on 1st June 2018. She’ll share the stage with the likes of Eli Paperboy Reed, Gill Landry and Yola Carter.
Sampson has also been announced as part of the line-up for The Long Road Festival, where she’ll perform on Sunday 9th June 2018.
Described as combining 70s folk-rock with California Country and classic Laurel Canyon, Sampson has been drawing comparisons to Stevie Nicks, Linda Ronstadt and Bonnie Raitt.
She recently released her debut single Long Way Back in the UK, a song that draws on her life experiences including finding sobriety and balancing her cruise ship singing career with dreams of becoming a professional musician.
