Gasoline & Matches to release debut single Fool’s Gold in January

UK Country duo Gasoline & Matches will release their debut single Fool’s Gold on 15th January 2018.

Comprising of Sally Rea Morris and Steve Marks, Gasoline & Matches have teamed up with producer Gavin Monaghan for Fool’s Gold. The song is an empowerment anthem that is sure to strike a chord on its release.

Explaining the meaning behind the song Sally said, ā€œThe song is about the empowerment of following your own path. Not letting people dictate the choices you make. Never stay in one place too long; whether itā€™s a bad relationship or a job you hate, donā€™t let excuses hold you back from the things you want!ā€

Fool’s Gold comes following a successful 2017 that saw Gasoline & Matches perform at Buckle & Boots and FSA Fest. They also picked up a nomination for Duo of the Year at the 2017 British Country Music Association Awards.

Sally and Steve met in 2011 in a guitar shop in Birmingham. The duo had undeniable chemistry and bonded over the their mutual love for Country music. 2017 has been a fantastic year for Gasoline & Matches and 2018 is looking to be even better.
