UK Country duo Gasoline & Matches will release their debut single Fool’s Gold on 15th January 2018.
Comprising of Sally Rea Morris and Steve Marks, Gasoline & Matches have teamed up with producer Gavin Monaghan for Fool’s Gold. The song is an empowerment anthem that is sure to strike a chord on its release.
Explaining the meaning behind the song Sally said, “The song is about the empowerment of following your own path. Not letting people dictate the choices you make. Never stay in one place too long; whether it’s a bad relationship or a job you hate, don’t let excuses hold you back from the things you want!”
Fool’s Gold comes following a successful 2017 that saw Gasoline & Matches perform at Buckle & Boots and FSA Fest. They also picked up a nomination for Duo of the Year at the 2017 British Country Music Association Awards.
Sally and Steve met in 2011 in a guitar shop in Birmingham. The duo had undeniable chemistry and bonded over the their mutual love for Country music. 2017 has been a fantastic year for Gasoline & Matches and 2018 is looking to be even better.
