Florida Georgia Line wow sold-out crowd at first stadium show

Florida Georgia Line played their first-ever headline stadium show at Fenway Park last night and proved a huge hit to the sold-out crowd.

As part of their groundbreaking The Smooth Tour, Florida Georgia Line brought Backstreet Boys along as well as hip-hop star Nelly and breakout Country star Chris Lane.

“Four years ago, we played the House of Blues right across the street, took a tour of the stadium, and dreamed of one day playing here,” Hubbard shared from stage. “Thank you Boston for making our dream come true with our very first sold out headline stadium show.”

Backstreet Boys joined Florida Georgia Line on stage to perform God, Your Mama, And Me and both groups were surprised with a plaque presentation after the performance, celebrating the song hitting number 1 on the Country radio airplay charts.

For the evening’s encore Florida Georgia Line, Backstreet Boys, Nelly and Chris Lane performed Nelly’s Hot In Herre, Backstreet Boys’ Everybody (Backstreet’s Back) and Florida Georgia Line and Nelly’s hit Cruise. The show ended with a massive fireworks display.

Florida Georgia Line and Backstreet Boys will perform two more stadium concerts this summer at Minneapolisā€™ Target Field (7/29) and Chicagoā€™s Wrigley Field (8/12).

The Smooth Tour 2017 continues with concerts scheduled coast-to-coast in the US.
