Emily Faye is premiering the music video for her new single Giving In exclusively here on EF Country.
Taken from her upcoming EP Here I Am, which will be released on 27th April 2018, Giving In is the follow-up to the collection’s lead single Open Road.
Talking about the video Faye says, “The song Giving In tells a story of someone who feels they have been trying really hard in their relationship, but that actually maybe it’s just a case of the fact they aren’t right for each other, and I wanted to portray in the video the realisation of that moment and giving yourself permission to actually give in to what just isn’t ‘meant to be’. Working with Gill and Gee Media was brilliant, they really brought my ideas to life and came up with the concept of with my favourite part of the video, where there are actually two Emilys in shot – almost like a future Emily talking to a present Emily, convincing her that it’s ok and she’s got what it takes to get through the breakup and she’s doing the right thing.”

In support of the new EP Faye is hitting the road with Beth Keeping and Vic Allen for the Write Like A Girl tour. Kicking off in May, the tour will feature the three singer-songwriters along with a local act on each date.
The tour aims to give women in Country music more of a spotlight and hopes to inspire aspiring singer-songwriters to create music.
