Emily Faye releases new track Open Road

Emily Faye has released new single Open Road, the first track from her forthcoming EP.

Recorded in Nashville earlier this year, Open Road is a personal song to Faye.

Speaking about the track she says, “Open Road is inspired by my parents’ adventures in their 1940ā€™s VW Campervan, combined with how it doesn’t matter where you are in the world, when you are with someone you love there is nothing more you need.”

On Monday 6th November Faye will perform at the Half Moon, Putney and on the 14th November she will play at the Sound Lounge, Tooting. In 2018 she will embark on national tour dates and festival appearances.

Faye attended London’s British And Irish Modern Music Institute (BIMM) where she studied songwriting after being inspired by artists such as Stevie Nicks and Paula Cole. During her time at the college she co-wrote and collaborated with like-minded musicians to begin gigging around London.

2018 will see the release of Faye’s debut EP, which was recorded in Nashville. To celebrate Open Road’s release Faye has unveiled a live performance, which you can watch below:
