EF Country’s Song of the Week this week is Zac Brown Band‘s emotive new track Leaving Love Behind.
The band appears to be on a winning streak at the moment following the release of their latest single Someone I Used to Know. On Friday they dropped new track Leaving Love Behind, taken from their upcoming album The Owl.

Leaving Love Behind is a return to a more classic Zac Brown Band sound. Over the past few years, the band has been experimenting with their sound, which has received a mixed reception from fans.
On Leaving Love Behind though, Brown’s voice is able to shine with sparse piano accompanying him. It’s a powerful and emotional track that’s sure to bring a tear or two to your eye.
The song is easily the best track from Zac Brown Band in a while and it makes us hopeful that The Owl might be the return to form that we’ve been holding out for.
Zac Brown Band will release their new album The Owl on 20th September 2019.
