As C2C: Country to Country 2018 ended this weekend, the dates for Country Music Week have been announced.
Following its hugely successful first year in 2017, Country Music Week will return from Sunday 21st to Sunday 28th October. The event will once again bring together performers from the US and the UK across iconic London venues.
Darius Rucker was the first star announced for this year’s event, marking his first return to the UK since performing at C2C in 2017. Drake White, who was a big hit in 2017, will be performing again and Kacey Musgraves, who headlined C2C 2018 on Saturday in London, will also be part of the event.
The first shows announced for Country Music Week 2018 are:
Wed 24 Oct – Drake White, KOKO, London (on sale Thursday 15 March 10am)
Sat 27 Oct – Kacey Musgraves, The SSE Arena, Wembley, London (on sale Friday 16 March 10am)
Sun 28 Oct – Darius Rucker, supported by Russell Dickerson, Royal Albert Hall, London (on sale now)
Country music fans who attended Country Music Week last year will know to expect a mixture of live shows and unique events. There will be a songwriting series, day time programmes, on stage interviews and
meet and greets in a central hub area.
Last year’s Country Music Week saw Kip Moore, Drake White, Little Big Town, Jillian Jacquline, Jace Everett, Lindsay Ell and many other stars from the genre performing all over London.
