Chris Stapleton has announced that he will be releasing two albums over the course of 2017.
First up is From a Room: Volume 1, which arrives on 5th May on Mercury Records Nashville. Now available to pre-order, the album is the first new music from Chris since his breakthrough debut album Traveller.
From a Room: Volume 2 will be released later in the year.
The album is named after the historic Nashville RCA Studio A, where Chris recorded the album during the winter of 2016-17. From a Room: Volume 1 was produced by Dave Cobb and it features 8 original songs and a cover of First Thing This Morning, written by Gary P. Nunn and Donna Sioux Farar and made famous by Willie Nelson.
Chris’ wife Morgane returns on harmony vocals alongside longtime band-members J.T. Cure on bass and Derek Mixon on drums and musicians Mickey Raphael on harmonica, Robby Turner pedal steel and Mike Webb on keys.
