Chase Bryant has released the music video for his latest single Room to Breathe and he’s definitely channelling his inner James Bond.
The Casino Royale inspired video sees Chase have a midnight run-in with a jealous ex-girlfriend that finds him kidnapped and tied up. The music video premiered on CMT and is now available on YouTube and features a cameo from Lee Brice.
Jeff Johnson directed the video and Chase co-wrote and conceptualised the video with Jeff after a late-night movie marathon on tour.
“Anyone that knows me knows that I am obsessed with James Bond movies. I was on the bus one night watching Casino Royale and I thought – how cool would it be to recreate the style of this movie and the attitude of James Bond into a music video? ‘Room To Breathe’ is a seductive sort of song about never wanting to leave a girl. I wanted to do something different and push the limits with this music video,” said Bryant.
Room to Breathe is Chases’s follow-up to Little Bit of You and it’s picked up rave reviews from the critics. Chase co-wrote and co-produced the song.
