Carrie Underwood leads 2016 CMT Music Awards winners

The 2016 CMT Music Awards took place last night and Carrie Underwood led the winners picking up two awards.

The reigning Queen of Country picked up Female Video of the Year and CMT Performance of the Year for her hit Smoke Break. Carrie was beaten to Video of the Year by Tim McGraw who ended her four year streak by collecting the award for his video Humble and Kind.

Performances on the night included Cam & Fifth Harmony, Billy Ray Cyrus & Cheap Trick, Little Big Town & Pharrel, Jason Aldean, Carrie Underwood, Blake Shelton & Oak Ridge Boys, and Keith Urban with Maren Morris and Brett Eldredge.
