Brett Eldredge has kept a relatively low profile in the UK despite being one of the biggest emerging stars of the Country genre over the past few years. That is all about to change when he takes to the Main Stage at C2C: Country to Country in March.
The last, and only, time Eldredge came to the UK to perform was in February 2016. He played a sold-out show at KOKO London on Valentine’s Day and we’d hoped it would lead to the star coming here more regularly. Now he’s making his C2C debut, we’re feeling hopeful that we’re going to be seeing a lot more of him from now on.
Eldredge enjoyed a breakthrough in 2012 with his first number one single Don’t Ya, taken from his Gold-certified debut album Bring You Back, released in 2013. His next three singles – Beat of the Music, Mean to Me and Lose My Mind – also hit the top of the charts with Lose My Mind launching his second album, and his first number one record, Illinois in 2015. Eldredge scored another number one in 2016 with Wanna Be That Song, the final single released from Illinois.
To date Eldredge has achieved 6 RIAA Platinum certified singles, 5 number one singles (6 if you include Forever Country) and two number one albums, including his latest self-titled release. In 2016 Eldredge released Glow, his first full-length holiday record, and a deluxe edition featuring 6 new tracks has just been released around the globe.
