Great and insightful review, thank you. Mr Lambert is unmatched in music today and I cannot WAIT till he tours with this album, the things he’s going to do with these songs in a live setting!! I CAN’T WAIT!!!

Fantastic review!! I agree that this is his strongest record so far. And I definitely hope that he continues with the R&B infusion in the future. I think Adam has really matured, artistically, and is getting really comfortable and at ease with himself. I’ve enjoyed the ride so far and look forward to the future.

Outstanding review and so on point. I’ve enjoyed the first two albums but TOH is just like a story of Adam’s disappointments and successes. His vocals are softer and love hearing him pull back on the high notes it shows just how versatile his voice is.

Appreciate this thoughtful review – believe “The Original High” is a superior piece of work in every way – songs/production – and, most especially, the vocals – don’t hear a voice like this very often – thanks again –

Loving Adam Lambert’s third major album #TheOriginalHigh: each listen to the whole gives more insight into his versatility as a superb vocalist and his finely honed skills of interpretation and nuance.. Looking forward to the distinct honor of hearing him sing these songs live (fingers crossed for a tour!).. Not to forget the bonus tracks on the the Deluxe version: “After Hours”, “Shame”, “These Boys” are main album track-worthy as well (IMHO).. Trying to pick a favorite from this long list of single-potential tracks (all 14 to be honest..) is impossible for me which bodes well for the longevity and popularity of this album.. Not just with us present fans but for those who may just be discovering this talented man.. Thanks for your thoughtful review.. 5 stars!!!

Thank you for the great review, what a album!!..truly his most mature music to date, really like “Another Lonely Night” and so many other potential singles..but must say “There I Said It” is the high point, such depth and emotion..hope WB and Adam throw caution to the wind and make this the next single,it will blow the public away!

This is a more matured album for sure. I have always thought he is better at rock/pop rock but this new direction showcased his other sides as an artist, and the songs worked for him, he’s truly a very versatile singer/artist, and this proves that there’s nothing this man can’t do! The title track has quickly become my favorite track on his album, it’s got an interesting structure/arch, it’s got his falsetto and wail… it’s got everything, it’s a perfect representation of Adam. There are 3 more songs in the deluxe version, ‘After Hours’ has also become one of my favs. Overall, it’s more sophisticated and very very sexy. I love this new album!
