The Dunphys attended the wedding of Phil’s (Ty Burrell) father Frank (Fred Willard) on the latest episode of Modern Family.
Phil encouraged his family to embrace the roaring 20s theme but when they turned up in costume, they were the only ones. Claire (Julie Bowen) and the kids staged an intervention with Phil but realised they shouldn’t try to change him.
Meanwhile Cam’s (Eric Stonestreet) sister came to stay and he finally found the courage to stand up to her… that is until she went into labour, which was a surprise as no one knew she was pregnant.
Elsewhere in the episode Jay (Ed O’Neill) realised that by saying ‘no’ too many times to his family, they had started to leave him out.
The next episode of the season is All Things Being Equal. The family find different ways to show support for the women’s movement. A car park causes a major disagreement between Jay and Phil.
