Claire (Julie Bowen) enlisted the kids to help her hide a stray dog from Phil (Ty Burrell) on the latest episode of Modern Family.
In her bid to keep the dog a secret so Phil didn’t get attached, Claire resorted to being downright cruel making Phil think that he’d done something wrong to upset her. Meanwhile Jay (Ed O’Neill) reluctantly had dinner with friends of Gloria’s (Sofia Vergara) and was surprised when he hit it off with them.
Elsewhere Cam (Eric Stonestreet) befriended a Christian rock band that moved into the apartment upstairs and offered his services when they lost their drummer.
The next episode of the season is Promposal. Mitchell helps Luke out with his “promprosal,” sparking Cam’s jealousy. Claire discovers that there is a mole for Jay in the company. Phil and Gloria confront a competitor who stole Gloria’s sauce recipe.
