On the latest episode of Legion, David Haller (Dan Stevens) continued his memory work with Ptonomy Wallace (Jeremie Harris) and Melanie Bird (Jean Smart).
With David’s sister Amy (Katie Aselton) held captive by Division 3, Bird decided that there wasn’t enough time. Instead of her usual indepth way, she decided it best that they focus on specific memories where David’s powers had manifested themselves.
The began with the times David had used drugs with Lenny Busker (Aubrey Plaza) before going into Clockworks. They noticed how emotion played a part in his powers showing themselves.
During the session David continued to be haunted by the creepy apparitions that only he could see. Wallace commented on how David was blocking his power and working against him. The session ended when David managed to accidentally teleport them all to a different room in the real world.
Back in the lab as David was put through more tests he lost control of his powers again. He somehow managed to project himself and Syd (Rachel Keller) to where The Eye (Mackenzie Gray) was questioning Amy. Before returning to their bodies they realised that The Eye was able to sense their presence.
Back in their bodies, Bird explained how The Interrogator was one of the original founding members of Summerland. She then proposed sedating David to try and prevent his resistance to their sessions.
After entering his memories again they found themselves trapped and fighting against them. As well as the apparitions they also came across a manifestation of the World’s Angriest Boy in the World from the book that David’s father read to him.
The group were chased through David’s childhood home before Syd managed to escape. She was then able to awaken the others to bring them back to the real world.
