The Grey Sloan doctors went up against each other as they prepared their submissions for the competition on the latest episode of Grey’s Anatomy.
Amelia (Caterina Scorsone) and Alex (Justin Chambers) teamed up to tackle a paediatric case to try and save a girl from losing her ability to sing. Meredith (Ellen Pompeo) was inspired by a patient who had multiple miniature spleens and she teamed up with Jo (Camilla Luddington).
Meanwhile Jackson (Jesse Williams) agreed to work with Catherine (Debbie Allen) on her gender confirmation proposal.

Elsewhere Richard (James Pickens Jr) roped in Maggie (Kelly McCreary) to help him learn to salsa dance in a bid to impress Catherine and Meredith panicked when she was picked for the competition but realised she didn’t have the patent she needed.
The next episode of the season is You Really Got a Hold On Me. Seattle firefighters Ben Warren (Jason George) and Andy Herrera (Jaina Lee Ortiz) head to Grey Sloan after rescuing two boys that are injured in a house fire.
