Grey’s Anatomy kicks off its fourteenth season in the UK on Wednesday, picking up right where the explosive season 13 finale left off.
Steph (Jerrika Hinton) narrowly survived an explosion in the hospital that she was caught up in while trying to save a little girl from a rapist. The incident led Steph to re-evaluate her career and she decided to quit her job and see what else life had to offer.

Meanwhile Meredith (Ellen Pompeo) and Nathan (Martin Henderson) experienced a major hurdle in their burgeoning relationship when Owen’s (Kevin McKidd) sister Megan (Abigail Spencer) was found alive and well.
Elsewhere Maggie (Kelly McCreary) and Jackson (Jesse Williams) started to wonder if they felt more than just friendship for one another and Minnik (Marika Dmińczyk) was fired by Bailey (Chandra Wilson).
The season premiere is Break Down the House. Meredith and the team focus on helping Owen’s sister after her shocking return.
