Meredith (Ellen Pompeo) and Nathan’s (Martin Henderson) relationship became public on the latest episode of Grey’s Anatomy.
During a press conference to discuss their heroics during their flight together, Meredith and Nathan’s body language made Maggie (Kelly McCreary) realise that the two were together. Meredith desperately tried to explain to her sister how she and Nathan became a couple but Maggie didn’t want to hear about it, feeling that she was being lied to.
Meanwhile Alex’s (Justin Chambers) pregnant patient with terminal cancer returned to the hospital. Before delivering her baby she signed a DNR and after the baby safely arrived, she flatlined and died with Amelia (Caterina Scorsone) holding her.
Elsewhere April (Sarah Drew), DeLuca (Giacomo Gianniotti), Stephanie (Jerrika Hinton) and Richard (James Pickens Jr) took on the case of a young girl who had worms breeding in her intestines, and Bailey enlisted April to help Richard and Catherine (Debbie Allen) reconcile.
The next episode of the season is Leave It Inside. Stephanie and Ben make career-changing decisions. Meanwhile, Alex and Eliza come to blows over the treatment of a young patient.
