Bailey (Chandra Wilson), Arizona (Jessica Capshaw) and Jo (Camilla Luddington) helped a pregnant teenager in a maximum security women’s prison on the latest episode of Grey’s Anatomy.
Restrained and known to be violent Kristin (Anna Jacoby-Heron) was hostile towards the doctors until she formed a bond with Jo. As they checked over the teenager, she revealed that she wanted her mother to be with her for the birth, unaware that her mother was in the building but refusing to see her.
Arizona appealed to the mother but she insisted that she was adopting the baby and never coming back to see her daughter again. Bailey told Jo and Arizona that they couldn’t reveal that information to Kristin but Jo went ahead and did it anyway when the girl went into labour.
The delivery was a success and Arizona informed Kristin’s mother and gave her a scolding too.
Elsewhere Bailey struggled with the realities of patient care in a prison and the doctors found out that Alex (Justin Chambers) had taken a plea deal.
The next episode of the season is Jukebox Hero. The attendings plot to make Eliza’s (Marika Dominczyk) first day at Seattle Grace difficult.
