Halloweenie 2013 to support GMCLA’s Alive Music Project

Fred & Jason’s Halloweenie is back for an 8th year and they’ve announced that all proceeds will go to the Gay Men’s Chorus of Los Angeles’s (GMCLA) Alive Music Project.

GMCLA’s Alive Music Project (AMP) is a unique music education outreach program designed for Los Angeles middle and high school students that uses song to create a powerful anti-bullying message. AMP works closely with school Gay Straight Alliances and incorporates the essential tools of GLSEN (Gay, Lesbian, Straight Education Network) to improve learning environments for each student it reaches.

Due to take place on 25th October at the famed Los Angeles Theatre, the event will begin at 9pm. Halloweenie was born from Fred & Jason’s love for Halloween and their commitment to charity work.

Guest DJs for this year’s event include Grammy-nominated producer/remixer DJ Dave Aude and DJ Blacklow. On the evening there will be a black carpet event for celebrities and sponsors.

Tickets on are on sale now for Halloweenie at www.gmcla.org. For more information on the event head over to www.halloweeniela.com
