Games with Gold for October featured an average selection of free games for Xbox Live Gold members. Our pick of the bunch in October was Victor Vran.
On Xbox One in November, Xbox Live Gold members can download a copy of Battlefield 1 all month. Then, from November 16th – December 15th Race the Sun will also be available.
On Xbox 360 (and Xbox One via Backward Compatibility) players can download a copy of Assassin’s Creed from November 1st until November 15th. This will then be switched to Dante’s Inferno for the remainder of the month.

You can still add all the games to your Xbox Live account even if you don’t own both an Xbox 360 and Xbox One.
Also, remember that even if you own a physical copy of the games on offer it’s still worth grabbing the free digital copy as you will then no longer need the disc to play. You could then pass your physical copy on to a friend or trade it in.
