Microsoft’s Games with Gold for Xbox has been a bit hit and miss over the past few months. The program rewards Xbox LIVE Gold subscribers with free games each month. Normally subscribers get two games for Xbox 360 and one game for Xbox One.
Players have complained that the games for Xbox 360 tend to be quite old and that the Xbox One freebies are often indie games. This month however seems to be one of the best so far which should go down well with players.
On Xbox One this month players can grab themselves a copy of Ubisoft’s excellent platformer Rayman Legends. The free indie game from last month #IDARB will also stay free for March.
On Xbox 360 players can grab a copy of Square Enix’s Tomb Raider reboot between the 1st and 15th March. For the second half of the month players will be treated to a copy of the fantastic BioShock Infinite which is one of our favourite Xbox 360 games.
Microsoft have also announced that the Game with Gold program has now given away over 100 million games since it started in 2013. To celebrate Xbox gamers will be treated to double the amount of free games in April.
There is no word yet on what games are planned but we’re hoping to see some quality titles on offer. Xbox 360 gamers will get four games while those with Xbox One will get two games.
EF will bring you news of the titles on offer towards the end of the month. In the meantime don’t forget to grab yourself copies of this months offerings.
