There’s only two days left before PlayStation 4 players get their hands on the Awakening DLC Pack for Call of Duty: Black Ops III.
The Awakening DLC Pack includes four new multiplayer maps — Skyjacked, Rise, Splash and Gauntlet — and Der Eisendrache, Treyarch’s brand new Zombies adventure that picks up where The Giant left off.
As usual Activision has been busy putting together preview trailers ahead of the launch. You can take a look at them below.
Der Eisendrache
Call of Duty: Black Ops III’s Zombies DLC season begins here. In “Der Eisendrache”, Origins characters Richtofen, Nikolai, Takeo and Dempsey embark on a suicide mission to an enemy research facility built upon an archaic site of unspeakable horror. Massive deposits of Element 115 have recently been discovered, delivering inspired new gameplay and — in Zombies tradition — a variety of plot twists and surprises to discover at every turn.
The Replacer Returns
Call of Duty is famous for its live-action trailers for each new release. Activision have taken it further with Black Ops III by creating a new one for the DLC. Here the wonderful Peter Stormare is back at the Replacer to prevent those pesky day-to-day distractions getting in the way of your Call of Duty time.
Skyjacked
Skyjacked brings the Call of Duty: Black Ops II fan-favorite Hijacked back to life on a security VTOL over urban Zurich, offering a variety of new ways to explore the map with Call of Duty: Black Ops III’s core movement system.
Rise
As the largest Call of Duty: Black Ops III Awakening multiplayer map, Rise drops players in the snowy outskirts of Zurich at a Coalescence Corporation construction project. The map design caters to players who use cover to their advantage while satisfying masters of the Call of Duty: Black Ops III?? core movement system.
Splash
Set in an abandoned water theme park, Splash delivers a new aquatic environment to explore in Multiplayer. With vibrantly colored water-slides, a wrecked pirate ship, and a lazy river ride through a fantastical forgotten city, players can also expect to take advantage of underwater combat opportunities.
Gauntlet
Set in a military training facility, Gauntlet delivers three distinct environments in one action-packed map. Traverse a sprawling jungle, sub-zero arctic zone, and a rainy urban cityscape built in Treyarch’s signature three-lane format.
Awakening is available first on PlayStation 4 on February 2nd 2016 and is available as part of the Call of Duty: Black Ops III Season Pass.
