Warhammer Quest 2: The End Times launches on iOS

Last week, UK indie studio Perchang, in association with Games Workshop, released Warhammer Quest 2: The End Times for iOS devices.

As fans of the old Games Workshop boardgame we were delighted when Warhammer Quest made the jump to mobile in 2013. You can read our review to see just how much we enjoyed the game.

The sequel promises to be a lot bigger than the first game and features a ten-part campaign. Dungeons are procedurally generated which will add a lot to the replay value of the game. We’re hearing there are also changes to weapons making each more effective against specific enemy types.

Here’s the official blurb on the game:

[blockquote]
A cataclysm was prophesied to bring about the end of the Old World. Now the forces of Chaos have begun their final assault and the last stand is coming.

Heroes from all races and lands are venturing forth. Sworn enemies standing shoulder to shoulder fighting the daemons of the apocalypse. Proud warriors search for powerful artefacts to aid their lords in the coming war. Sorcerers toil for untold power, while Witch Hunters seek to settle long held scores. Dark Elf Assassins fill ledgers in blood and berserk Dwarf Slayers topple the mightiest of foes.

These are the days of action and adventure.

These are The End Times.

Warhammer Quest 2: The End Times is available for purchase now via the App Store for a price of £4.99.

Also available at launch is the first expansion pack for the game. The expansion adds the region of Reikland with a brand new story campaign, Skaven enemies and new dungeon environments. The expansion is priced at £4.99 and should double the size of the game.

EF Games hope to bring you a full review of Warhammer Quest 2: The End Times very soon.
