Ahead of this year’s E3, OtherSide Entertainment have released a brand new trailer for their action-RPG, Underworld Ascendant. The independent game developer was founded by industry legends Warren Spector (Ultima Underworld, System Shock, Deus Ex) and Paul Neurath (Ultima Underworld, Thief).
The team also includes writer and game director Joe Fielder (BioShock Infinite, Boom Blox) and lead designer Tim Stellmach (System Shock, System Shock 3, Thief). 505 Games will be publishing the game.

In the game, you must become The Ascendant, a hero tasked with overcoming an incomprehensible challenge and saving The Stygian Abyss. You must combine clever problem-solving and adaptability to restore the world to its rightful state.
Underworld Ascendant encourages and rewards player experimentation, boasting an environment that reacts dynamically to player choices and a wide range of items, skills and abilities that affords players meaningful gameplay decisions. Discover your unique playstyle – sneak past enemies using water arrows, go head-to-head in full blown combat, or manipulate the environment to your advantage with dynamic spells.
