Ubisoft craft stone gaming room for Far Cry Primal launch

In celebration of next week’s launch of Far Cry Primal, Ubisoft have commissioned a complete gaming setup. It was crafted free-hand from stone by accredited master carver and stone mason, Nick Roberson. It looks like the perfect place for a Stone Age man or woman to just kick back and relax, when taking a break from hunting mammoth and sabre-toothed tigers.

The sanctuary, which has been created with hand-carved finest Fletcher Band sandstone, features all the essentials found in a modern day gaming room. Crafted items include a Sony Playstation 4 games console, complete with controllers and a television. There’s also a pizza box, beer can and carved coffee table.

“This project was undertaken to highlight the vast landscape and rich setting of the Stone Age era in Far Cry Primal,” comments Tom Goldberger, Senior PR Manager at Ubisoft. “Nick has managed to immortalize, in stone, the beautiful, elegant designs of these iconic items with unbelievable accuracy.”

Far Cry Primal is set to release February 23rd for PS4 and Xbox One, and will be available on Windows PC on March 1st, 2016.

EF hopes to bring you a full review of Far Cry Primal later this month. Check out the official Far Cry Primal website for more information on the game.
