The Surge 2 already has loads of weapons to collect and upgrade in the base game, but what’s better than loads of weapons? Even more weapons of course! The Future Shock Weapons update is available now and it’s free for everyone.
The Future Shock Weapons update adds four new weapons to the game to further increase the variety when slicing and dicing your enemies. The new weapons are the deadly Golden Twin Blades, the devastating “EFH” Heavy Duty Weapon, the brutal Mangled Articulators Punching Gloves, and the versatile Golden Harvest Double Duty Weapon.
There is a slight catch, however, you will have to go out into the world and find enemies wielding these weapons in order to claim them. If you’ve not played The Surge 2 this means venturing out into the hostile world and hacking off the limbs of enemies holding these weapons.
The Future Shock Weapon Pack update will be followed up sometime next week with the announcement of the official The Surge 2 season pass. The season pass will introduce more weapons, more implants, more gear sets, and a brand-new storyline DLC with hours of content in a new environment to be released down the line.
