Epic Games recently launched their own games store and depending on what article you read they are either set to take over the PC market and take down Steam or they are destined to sit on the back burner with many gamers lamenting over having yet another launcher on their PC. Either way competition is good in the market and the Epic Games store is starting strong.
They plan to give away a free game every two weeks which certainly isn’t something to be sniffed at. Especially when the current free game is the critically acclaimed Subnautica. Subnautica is so good it made it onto our PC Xmas Gift Guide.
Subnautica takes a unique twist on the survival genre putting you under the ocean. You can craft items, pilot your sub and try to outsmart the local wildlife as you try to survive in an environment that is constantly trying to kill you. Subnautica is only available for free until December 27th, the next game in line is Super Meat Boy.
