Snipers vs Thieves, developed by Foxglove Studios and published by PlayStack, has reached a massive 25 million players and is celebrating by releasing it’s biggest game changing update ever. Snipers vs Thieves is a mobile game with a pretty unique way of playing as you can either be a thief or a sniper.
When playing as a thief your aim is to escape with the loot you have just robbed whilst avoiding being shot by a sniper. When playing as the sniper your job is to prevent the thieves from reaching the getaway van and escaping with all the swag. What makes this more interesting is that all of the thieves and the sniper are controlled by real players creating a recipe for some great 1 vs 4 action.

The new update offers players new game modes, new weapons and gadgets, a redesigned interface plus a single player mode. You can read a summary below.
New ways to play
- Thief race: There is only 1 seat in the getaway van, beat your temamates to it to win
- Pro thief mode: Earn much bigger rewards but you lose if just one of your clan get taken out.
- Single player horde mode: As the sniper take on wave after wave of AI controlled thieves
New Sniper gear
- Triggered explosives: Throw mines into the path of the thieves and watch them get blown sky high
- Rail gun: A very powerful gun that can see through and shoot through objects. Only available to use for a few seconds
- Air strike: Rain death from above with this over the top attack
- Turrets: Place auto-aiming turrets around the play area to gain an edge
Thief power ups
- Vampire run: Run as fast as a vampire but while you do your health drains quickly
- Teleport: Use to teleport behind a piece of cover of your choice
- Dodge gadget: Gain godlike reflexes to dodge incoming bullets
- Buddy speed: Freeze one of your thief crew for a few seconds, once they break free they receive a massive speed boost.
