The Chained Ogre is one of the first tougher challenges you will come across in Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice. He’s a big intimidating guy who will happily smash your bones to pieces.
His main attacks are a grab attack, a swinging punch and a flying kick. If you get caught by the grab attack it’s likely that he will kill you in one hit so keep your eye out for the red icon flashing up. If everything gets too much for you there is also a safe spot you can grapple to so you can get your nerves under control again.
The path to the Chained Ogre is full of enemies so take your time and either avoid or take them out so you don’t enter the boss fight having taken damage.
Although this fight is doable without it, I would recommend getting the Flame Vent prosthetic attachment before this fight, as this makes it much easier. This guy hates fire and when using the Flame Vent he will be stunned allowing you to get in loads of extra damage.
