PlayStation Plus games for January 2019 announced

PS Plus featured another brilliant selection of games for PlayStation Plus subscribers in December. The highlights for us were OnRush and SOMA on PS4.

PS Plus games always arrive on the first Tuesday of the month. That means that the first batch of free games for 2019 will arrive on Tuesday, January 1st. I’m pleased to say there’s a decent selection of games on offer to start the year.

In January, PlayStation players can download at least two titles for each system. Players on PS4 can grab Steep and Portal Knights. This month there are no bonus PSVR or PlayLink titles.

On PS3 the new games to add to your collection are Zone of the Enders HD Collection and Amplitude. Finally on PS Vita players can download Fallen Legion: Flames of Rebellion and Super Mutant Alien Assault. Fallen Legion: Flames of Rebellion is compatible with Crossplay so you can play it on your PS4 as well.

To recap:

Leaving PS Plus on January 1st:

  • SOMA (PS4)
  • Onrush (PS4)
  • Steredenn (PS3)
  • SteinsGate (PS3)
  • Iconoclasts (PS Vita/PS4)
  • Papers, Please (PS Vita/PS4)

Entering PS Plus on January 1st:

  • Steep (PS4)
  • Portal Knights (PS4)
  • Zone of the Enders HD Collection (PS3)
  • Amplitude (PS3)
  • Fallen Legion: Flames of Rebellion (PS Vita/PS4)
  • Super Mutant Alien Assault (PS Vita/PS4)

EF Games will bring you news of the PlayStation Plus titles for February 2019 towards the end of January. Remember to make sure you’ve added the titles for December to your collection before the new games arrive.
