With the beginning of the new Lunar Year the world is ushering in the Year of the Pig. To celebrate Overwatch is giving players the chance to collect hundreds of themed cosmetic items. There is also a festive themed Capture the Flag version of the Busan map plus the previous Lunar New Year maps Ayutthaya and Lijang Tower are also returning.

The real highlight of the event is the new skins. There are new legendary skins for Lü Bu Reaper, Guan Yu Reinhardt, Zhuge Liang Zenyatta, Hong Gildong Tracer, Zhang Fei Torbjörn, and Huang Zhong Hanzo. Plus there are epic skins for Sanye Orisa and General Brigitte.
The Year of the Pig event runs until February 18th.
So as you can see there’s lots to be excited about in Overwatch at the moment and if you’re still on the fence whether to buy Overwatch or not there couldn’t be a better time to get on board. There is now a permanent price reduction on all versions of Overwatch at the Blizzard Shop.
