Marita, the new map for Battlefield V is now live and is available for free for all players as part of the Chapter 4: Defying the Odds expansion. Marita is an infantry focused map with a focus on verticality and intense firefights. All you would-be fighter pilots and tank commanders will need to slog it out on foot in this map.
DICE gives a brief description of the Marita map: “Deploy on a sloping mountain ridge and within the tight streets of a rural town on this infantry-focused map. Tanks and aircraft will stand aside for intense gunfights and sneaky flanks in the cobbled streets.”
Since its addition, there is now a Marita only playlist available which will rotate between one round of Conquest and two rounds of Breakthrough. A second playlist will be added early August adding other game modes to the set.
In addition to the new Marita map, there are also two elite skins available to purchase. The Norman Kingsley and Ilse Schattenwolf skins are available to buy using Battlefield V’s in-game currency.
