It has been announced that there is some exciting new content coming to Black Desert Online after the regular maintenance is complete today (February 13th). Never content to sit still, Kakao Games are adding two new changes to the popular Black Desert Online.
First off are the Dark Rifts that will be appearing randomly across the world. From these rifts will appear powerful boss monsters, consumed by the Black Spirit, intent on wreaking havoc. These bosses can only be taken on by a solo player in an interesting twist to the usual MMO formula. If players manage to take them down they can gain powerful rewards. Given their random nature players will literally never know when one is going to appear, although a location tracker will be added to the map so players can find them once they have appeared.
Secondly we have the addition of Bartali’s Adventure Log. The log is essentially a list of challenges, an adventurers to do list if you will. The log will continuously update with new tasks, challenges and errands for players to complete. Players can gain bonus rewards and stat boosts that will apply to their entire roster of characters. This feature is available from level 51, once players complete the main quests of the Calpheon region.
