15 game releases to watch out for in August 2019

There were some decent game releases to choose from in July. My top picks for the month were Wolfenstein: Youngblood, Sea of Solitude and Blazing Chrome.

August represents the end of the summer drought of big releases and brings us plenty of new games to choose from. For August I was a bit spoilt for choice so decided to pick an extra 5 releases over last month. As usual there’s something for everyone with new releases across each of the platforms.

Of all of the August releases, I’m most looking forward to Control which is arriving on PC, Xbox One and PS4. I’m also keen to check out The Dark Pictures – Man of Medan and of course World of Warcraft: Classic.

Here’s a full list of my 15 games to watch out for in August 2019:

Please note that the dates mentioned are the currently expected UK release dates and subject to change, dates for other regions may vary.
