Game of Thrones 7×03 The Queen’s Justice first-look photos

Following on from Game of Thrones 7×02 Stormborn, we have the official preview images from 7×03 The Queen’s Justice below.

If you want to avoid spoilers for season seven then we suggest you stop reading now.

The third episode is written by showrunners David Benioff & D. B. Weiss with Mark Mylod in the director’s chair for the second time this season. The episode is titled The Queen’s Justice, here’s the synopsis for the episode:

Daenerys (Emilia Clarke) holds court. Cersei (Lena Headey) returns a gift. Jaime (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau) learns from his mistakes.

The images reveal a few things to expect from the episode but are mostly focused on the events at Dragonstone. It seems that as announced, Jon Snow (Kit Harington) and Ser Davos (Liam Cunningham) have crossed by boat from White Harbour to Dragonstone as they can be seen walking ashore.

There’s a shot of Tyrion (Peter Dinklage) stood looking on, presumably at Jon and Davos, with Dothraki warriors behind him.

In the Dragonstone throne room, Varys (Conleth Hill) is seen whispering something to Dany (Emilia Clarke). As we know there isn’t much that Varys isn’t aware of so we presume he has some useful insights for her.

There’s a shot of Dany sat upon the Dragonstone throne. It seems she is probably listening to what Jon has to say. There is also a shot of Jon looking a little concerned with Davos looking more concerned behind him.

Out of the throne room, there is a shot of Varys and Melisandre (Carice van Houten) stood on a cliff edge overlooking the sea. We’ve no idea what they are talking about so hope the episode reveals more.

Finally in Winterfell there is a shot of Littlefinger (Aiden Gillen) walking along in front of Sansa (Sophie Turner). She’s supposed to be in charge while Jon is away but we presume Littlefinger has other ideas. He’s surely going to try and manipulate her but could this be the time that Sansa gets the upper hand?
