Arrow Video FrightFest 2018: Jérémie Guez tells the story behind A Bluebird in My Heart

Arrow Video FrightFest 2018 is in full swing and there’s been plenty to sink our teeth into this year.

Yesterday we caught up with French director Jérémie Guez, who made an unscheduled stop at the Media Wall. His film A Bluebird in My Heart is one of the best films we’ve seen so far at the festival this year, packing in plenty of heart and emotion alongside some shocking violence.

Find out our full thoughts on A Bluebird in My Heart by reading the review.

During our chat with Jérémie we talk about how emotion is interweaved with the film’s violence, discuss the bond that forms between lead character Danny and Clara, and find out which horror film Jérémie wishes he’d made.
