Union Chapel to host The Princess Bride

This Summer the world famous Union Chapel in Islington is looking to meet new people, make new friends and raise just a little bit of money for charity.

The Union Chapel Summer Fete takes place from 12 noon – 4pm at Compton Terrace Gardens for a traditional summer fete – there’ll be stalls, games, cakes and music!

The Chapel will be open for guided tours and activities as will the bar. It’s free entry too.

At 6.30pm The Union Chapel will be screening the classic The Princess Bride in the glorious surroundings of the chapel, on a big screen.

Find yourself on the edge of your pew laughing your socks off this summer as you follow Westley, Buttercup, Fezzick and the rest of the gang on their adventures. Gawp upward at the Cliffs of Insanity; learn the true meaning of the word inconceivable, quake in your boots at the site of an ROUS (Rodent of Unusual Size) and wash it all down with a nice glass of Pimms & Lemonade.

Tickets are £12 general admission | £8 UC members | £5 Under 14s adv + booking fee.
All money raised goes to the restoration & development of Union Chapel.

For further info and to book tickets, check out the website.
