Paramount and Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Pictures’ new film Hercules, starring Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson, is released on July 25th. Based on Radical Comics’ Hercules, this ensemble-action film is a revisionist take on the classic myth set in a world where the supernatural does not exist. The first trailer for the action-adventure has just been released.
WWE superstar Dwayne Johnson returns to the big screen after his recent stint back in the ring. The trailer finds the action star on great form whilst fighting all manner of beasts and men as Hercules. He even wears a Lion as a hat! Now that’s hard to pull off but Dwayne dutifully succeeds in this crazy new footage released from the teaser trailer.
The film also stars Ian McShane, Rufus Sewell, Joseph Fiennes, Peter Mullan and John Hurt and is directed by Brett Ratner.
Hercules opens across the UK on July 25th 2014.
