The Found Footage Festival is a one-of-a-kind event showcasing odd and hilarious videos.
Taking place at Leeds’ Hyde Park Picture House on Friday 22nd March, the festival features everything from curiously produced corporate training videos to the forsaken home movie discovered in a bin. Curated by Nick Prueher and Joe Pickett, the festival is a 90-minute celebration of all things ‘found’.
āWeāre really excited about showing off our collection of greatest VHS finds from the last 20 years,ā says curator Nick Prueher. āWe started this back in high school and would show clips for entertainment at parties and now weāre on tour around the UK, Ireland, Paris and The Netherlands! This is a new show created especially for British audiences.ā
āItās great to welcome back Nick & Joe,ā says General Manager Wendy Cook. āThey first came to us last year and the audience loved them so with new footage to show Iām sure theyāll be loved again! And as if we donāt give enough the first 150 people through the door will get a free bottle of Brooklyn beer!ā
