The Fifth Estate will be released in the UK on Blu-ray and DVD on Monday.

Starring Benedict Cumberbatch (Sherlock), The Fifth Estate is based on real-life events and tells the story of the notorious WikiLeaks site. In the movie Cumberbatch stars as Julian Assange with Daniel Bruhl as computer hacker Daniel Domscheit-Berg.

Driven to expose corporate crimes and government secrets no matter what the cost, activist Julian Assange and computer hacker Daniel Domscheit-Berg team up to become the underground watchdogs of the privileged and powerful. As their Wikileaks organisation starts to gather support and influence across the globe so the stakes are raised; pitching them into conflict with the US intelligence agencies and putting the lives of thousands in danger.

The movie takes inspiration from the tell-all book Inside WikiLeaks: My Time with Julian Assange at the World’s Most Dangerous Website by Daniel Domscheit-Berg.
